Boh, you're right, we have.
LSU played little sister to everyone in the late 80s and 90s.
College Football is a cyclical thing due to coaching and recruiting wars.
Who wouldve thought Michigan, Florida State, Notre Dame and Washington would have had the decade they did?
USC sucked in the 90s, so did LSU, so did Texas. These things ebb and flow.

I know, and I didn't mean to belittle what aTm is capable of now, it's just that everyone, including fans, look at what has happened lately.
That's the perception. Texas is probably still considered dominant even though they had a laughable season.

I know it cracks you up to keep saying this over and over again. But LSU has 2 BCS titles, and four 10 win seasons in the last 6 years and has been to a few BCS games.
Just because we floundered in the 90s, it does not mean we aspire to be a loser program like A & M. You guys may match up and even give us a good game, but to think that you can come here and trash talk like you actually belong in the same league as us tells me how retarded your fans are.

LSU won SEC titles in '86 and '88, finished in the top five in '87. Otherwise your post has merit. These things are somewhat cyclical. The fact is that LSU is currently on an 11 year upswing that does not appear to be ready to trend downward anytime soon. I work with a number of Aggies and have followed the program somewhat through them. It does appear you guys may be making the turn upward. Hope so for my friends sakes. Should be a good game if they match up this year IMO.
