Miles offered Dak today. Been a solid MSU commit, but this makes things more interesting.

I'm at a loss for words now

I still think Mettenberger is in the bag.
I think this says alot about Brissett though.
Greyshirt Rivers.

If it's an offer now, I think this could finally spell the end for Rivers. Mett is ours, I don't see him going anywhere else. And, from what I, as well as others on here (Yamamma and Memphis to name some) and the pay-sites, things look real good for Teddy.
Even with Dak on board, you can't tell Teddy he's not welcome here. I just can't see us taking 4 QBs in one class (even though Rivers will be grey-shirted and count to 2012)

Greyshirt offer?
I don't know how, or if, that would work with him enrolling in January

It means Miles wants to sign as many QB's as possible???
We do have 2 soon-to-be Seniors....

Pretty sure he hasn't offered yet, although he may tonight on his in home.
Why would he call up someone and offer him a couple of hours before an in home?

He was at their school today and Miles met with Dak and his Mom...I think this is a great offer, and it should be interesting to see how things play out!

I talked with some of the people around Dak this weekend after the game. Dak's HS coach and principal took him down for the OM game on an official. He was on the sidelines.
I was asking how strong he was to MSU, and after his visit he stated that he didnt feel as comfortable at LSU as he did MSU. Now, anything can change since he holds an offer now, but I think the bond MSU has made with him is strong.
With that said, at the beginning of the year I didnt think he was SEC type. But, he injured his knee a couple of weeks before the end of the regular season and then he showed off his arm

The thing with Miss. St. is you never know how long Mullen is going to be there.
When Minnesota comes and tries to raid you, then you probably will have issues with hanging on to a decent coach.
