Has Miles ever promised changes?

Mack Brown promised that changes would occur, as did Randy Shannon (before he was fired).
Has Les Miles made any such promises---or indicated that there would be an improvement in the offense next year?

I want him to promise that Gary Crowton is fired.

Les Miles won't "fire" or promise to fire anyone. He never has and he never will. He will let them "seek other opportunities". Les is a softie and it's reflected in the team.

Such a douche, so not being a badass in the media makes someone soft? Get a life, the best situation is if someone leaves. He can give them a nudge and that's all he needs to do. It will continue to pay off in getting other good assistants.

Does he ever tell us what will be or is gonna happen. I can only think of 1 right now.

handled with class and he's soft...typical TD

Why do you have to be a jerk? I wouldn't call this team soft in any way. They are one of the tougher teams LSU has fielded in years.
The truth is, Les Miles never airs his laundry for the media or the fans. He doesn't criticize his players to the media and he doesn't threaten his coaches (Tennessee game was an exception, but GC took the blame for that fiasco with the media himself). I would rather have Les' class than a coach that says it's never his fault and blames players and coaches everytime the play doesn't look good.
We don't know what he says behind closed doors to his players and coaches, and that's the way it should be.

Yes, Les Promised:
end-of-game time management problems were supposedly "solved" ever since last years Ole Miss game.....

He promised to fix the defense after 2008.
Then he hired The Chief.

I was eviscerated in an earlier thread for stating that if Crowton had any honor, he would resign and thereby not put Miles in the position of firing him.
Unless Crowton lives in a cave, he's got to know Tiger Nation wants him gone. In another thread I started, all but 2 posters would take firing Crowton over winning the bowl game!

Miles will have to grow a pair and fire Crowton. No one is going to hire him away from us

You're comparing him to Brown and Shannon? The man is 10-2. This place has become insane.

That would be WWL 870 a.m. in New Orleans, yesterday afternoon.

Miles does not have to fire Crowton. This is the last year in Crowton's contract.

He promised during the TAF Tiger Tour here in LC that we would see Russell Sheppard throw a pass before the year was over!

His contract is up.
Why the frick do people keep comparing Miles to Mack Brown, and now Randy Shannon?
Mack Brown went 5-7 a year after a NC appearance. Randy Shannon is now unemployed. Why would you want Miles to be anything like these coaches? The rant befuddles me sometimes.
