Take home salary calculator - Texas vs California

Can somebody link me to an online calculator or a website that can help compare net take home salaries between Texas and California? I am interested in comparing the take home salaries between someone making $80k in Texas and someone making $100k in California.
I am assuming the federal income tax bracket does not change between $80k and $100k. But I want to be able to account for the state taxes in California (not sure what % that is).

I'd be really surprised if it wasn't worth it to move with a 25% increase in pay.

I wouldn't be surprised, although it depends on where in texass and where in california. Taxes are a lot higher in california, property and state income, not to mention gas, auto insurance and general cost of living.
of course, california is a much nicer place to live.

LINK
Here is another that shows a much bigger difference. As an example I put in Houston to Orange County comparing an $80 grand salary. The previous link showed only a $6000 increase needed while this one shows a $48,000 increase needed. Pretty surprised they are that different.

According to these calculators, a person making $100k in CA vs somebody making $80k in Texas will only bring home ~$600 per month more.
The state taxes are almost $500 per month in California which obviously is a huge hit.
Not sure if ~$600 is enough to cover the increased cost of living. Just for example a decent one bed room apt costs $1300-$1500 to rent in North San Jose.
