When you play a team like Ar-Kansas, you know heading into the game that they are gonna make some plays. Yes, the defense gave up a few big plays that became TDs. Along the same lines, out red-zone offense, or lack thereof, turned opportunites for TDs into FGs, and you CANNOT kick field goals and beat a good offense on the road, you just cannot do it. We force a turnover, get the ball around the 10 and end up kicking a FG??? That is how football games are lost!

If it's coaching down to the small details, then yes, Chavis no doubt shares some blame.

Hatcher played stupidly and singlehandedly gave up 14 points. Others on the D pursuing vainly after those plays were trying to clean up Hatcher's frick ups.

Otherwise, the defense put the offense in position to win the game. What the hell else can we expect?

You can't get 3 on those first two possessions of the second half--what if we had scored 7 both times?
