And Miles does just fine at selling LSU. Top 5 classes every year. I respect Sabans recruiting but don't come in here and act like Miles can't recruit or sell our program.

Actually, that was my point, LSU should always recruit well, as should Alabama. Alabama may have some concerns, but recruiting is not one of them.

USC was some kind of dominate in recruiting in Carroll's years. It's kind of unreal what they did.Small classes(compared to most teams)that ranked top 3 and most of the time #1.

And the only NC game they "won" they have had vacated. That's under performance of historic proportions, like their namesakes, legendary LOSERS.

Never said USC's recruiting prowess paid off with the big prize but they went to 7 or 8 straight BCS games and had a ton of guys get drafted early and overall.Just saying that they had unrivaled success in recruiting.Saban is having great success recruiting. That's the point of the thread. We do as well.

Just own it about Fluker and you won't be ridiculed anymore. Your Crimson Midget god doesn't have a 100% success rate on his recruits.

What coach does? And besides Fluker is still very new to the position. Kirkpatrick and Milliner were first year starters in a complicated defense. Now if we're talking about Tyler Love or B.J. Scott, that's another story. They're likely to be busts.

And Saban had a 5th year senior QB this year too!

Gonna be a while Bama fans before you have another 29-0 run in the SEC

Who knows. So many things have to go right for anything like that to happen. The offense didn't live up to it's billing, but still set many Alabama records, and could have Alabama's first 3,000 yard passer with 220 yards in the bowl game. Regardless, the biggest issue was the OL. It was young, and it showed. However, I am excited about Alabama's defense for 2011.

Bama will be fine Capstone. The thing I keep thinking is that with all the criticism McElroy got this year,Bama fans better be careful what they wish for with McCarron. He is not a Saban style QB.Too much gunslinger in that kid to appease Saban. He's a talent,no doubt, but Saban will not allow him to throw wildly too much.I think you guys better hope Philip Sims is the guy.I personally think that in 2-3 years Phillip Ely will be the guy that gets you guys back to the NC level. He is the perfect QB for Saban.A lot of Matt Mauck(not the running ability;the smarts) in that kid.

Perhaps the same things Miles said after we blew a 21 point lead to a much worse Tennessee team at home in 2005.
