yeah, they do*. big ten is pretty good this year, at least as good as the pac 10. ohio state also played da u. its not their fault da u sucks just as its not lsu's fault unc and wvu suck this year.
*they would need to win the big 10 though.

And he's exactly right.

interesting application of that line of thinking

that dude makes no sense.
first he talks shite about boise and tcu then talks about illinois beating ohio state. then he likes the mystery of not controlling your own destiny, but fails to realize that boise and tcu cant just up and play in a tougher conference, and that even though they schedule tougher schools, its no guarantee that the school will be good that year or even if boise or tcu will be good. will mich state be good in 2020 or whatever? heck, will boise even be good then? who knows.

Finally someone who is important is saying this.

but they can do things like not struggle to beat horrible non-BCS teams or have to come back and win late against mediocre BCS teams (VT)
they DO have that opportunity

Gee.
...FWIW, I hope he never retires.

I cannot and will not believe that if AU slips up Against Bama or the Cocks they are not worthy anymore. ESPN and the media is the one that keeps telling us this and honestly it's a joke.

Having had half of my college education under that C U Next Tuesday Karen Holbrook and the other half under Gordon Gee - I absolutely agree. He is fricking awesome. I follow him on twitter even

He makes perfect sense. LSU, Arkansas, Alabama, Stanford, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Mich State are all undefeated with Boise State or TCU's schedule. But if you flipped that, and made BSU/TCU play those schedules, they lose 1, at least.

maybe they would maybe they wouldnt. we have no way of knowing until they do. if either one matches up against auburn and beats them... of course the next excuse will be that they had a month to gameplan. and if that excuse isnt used it will be the excuse of not playing a tough schedule.
