Florida's suckage this season is well chronicled, so much that Gator fans are calling for their OC's head much like Crowton here.

If CUM makes a move at season's end as expected, and LSU still makes a move (because the 'O' stats have not improved over last season), who sees a bidding war with UF over the hottest OC on the market?

Even worse, who sees CUM calling up Billy G. and offering him the job, leaving Baton Rouge and taking the playbook with him!

Wouldn't we have a new playbook with a new OC?

not i. CUM has his own offensive scheme and will find a coach to fit it.

Assume in this instance Alleva doesn't want a bidding war, sticks with Crowton for another year. Besides, we're going to finish 11-1.

dont think it has an impact....meyer will hire an oc that runs his system.....miles doesnt really have a system other than he wants to run the football....thats why i think dana holg would be better for us then leach....he actually runs the football more....although i do love leach....

No, because the writing is on the wall for LSU to return to a Power I Offense.

Corch runs the spread.

TD freak I agree with your analysis except for 1 thing. I think we may beat Arky but I think it could go either way. I am expecting a dog fight. I think LSU maybe overconfident going into that game. It could be a trap game. It has traditionally been a hard fought game. Regardless of 10-2 or 11-1 I don't think Crowton is going anywhere. I don't think Alleva is gonna release Crowton and has no appetite to hire another offensive coordinator.

Billy Gonzalez did not even say goodbye to CUM when he left UF. FACT. He left him some kind of short note and left. It was on horrible terms. He will never go back while CUM is there

So then they still our plays and then their offense ranks next to last in college football. Brilliant!

If Florida really wanted Gonzales he wouldn't be here now and I think the DCs at the other SEC schools already know our playbook.

I don't get the love for Billy G, our recievers drop balls all over the place, they don't run very good routes, and we want to promote him.

Ive said it a thousand times, If BG was worth a shite Meyer would have promoted him, or done something to keep him...fact is he got Mullen and Meyer their coffee every morning...

No, more likely, BG gets promoted to OC at LSU, assuming he and Miles have gotten along. However, Leach would be a revolutionary choice. It would be a culture shock for LSU to throw the ball, on average, more than 30 times a game.
