Mettenberger will start as many games for LSU next year as you or I. And I graduated from college in 2005 and will be stationed overseas until June of 2012.

I love the talent LSU has but losing a lot of leaders on defense. If we can pull through early in the year that will be huge

I don't know how good he is, so I honestly have no informed opinion as to whether or not he should start.
I seriously doubt, however, that he will start--unless he has on hell of a spring.

It will be JJ/JL next year my friend. Mett will get two years to be the QB. That is how it will play out.

We won't go through one more year of this offensive garbage.
There will be a change that happens either from a new QB or a new OC.
I have hope about Mettenberger coming in and being great because Crowton really knows how to coach QBs that already know how to play QB. It's the development that gets him.

I don't know... I hope so. It would be nice to play some games next year were we actually have the better qb. We have yet to play a team with a worse qb than we have.
ZM will have to out perform JJ by a significant degree to get the start. I have seen how JJ plays so I just don't see how ZM could do anything but out shine him in the spring.
