apparently you've never been in any restaurants' kitchen, 94% of them are gross as hell
LeGrange is good, it's nothing to write home about, but it's a decent meal.
Enjoy

Gross.
We went a few weeks ago because I didn't get home until 8PM and we live in Denham. We usually head to BR but I was just tired.
Everything comes with a salad. I wanted their Sesame Ginger dressing because it was the only thing that didn't sound bottled. They didn't have it. I was forced to get Caesar instead (which I like Caesar salad) and it had BACON BITS in it. WTF? It's CAESAR!
I wanted fried oysters for my entree.. of course they didn't have them. I know right now isn't exactly the best time for oysters but Mike Andersons, Parrains, etc. has them! lol
So I got fried catfish instead... terrible.
Last week I made fried catfish at home and literally all I did was buy catfish filets, dip them in egg and milk and fish fry from the box, and they were LIGHTYEARS better than the catfish I got at LaGrange's. This tasted like it was prefried catfish frozen and reheated.
Awful.
The people were super nice, but being a "down home" type of restaurant without good homemade food means nothing to me.

The smoked ribeye is the best thing on the menu.

So we went for lunch. The food was really good! We had steaks, sweet potatoes and salad. The atmosphere is qestionable, and it smelled like a gs leak. The service wasn't bad but it felt like the worst of chalmette.

WTF?
Clearly, I missed something when I went. Too bad I vowed to never go back.

So apparently per the posters here, it's only good if you get steak. Well damnit I don't want to go to a place that only has ONE good thing. I want my catfish to not taste pre-frozen. I want a Caesar salad WITHOUT bacon bits. Is that too hard to ask?

not a fan of the seafood there
Steaks, cajun chicken, chicken fried steak are all pretty good IMO
