I just want to give props to the O line.

I'm a true believer that good offensive play begins up front with the big boys. The LSU offensive line played their best game of the season IMO. The run/pass blocking was very good and the pre-snap/holding penalties were way down against a very good Bama defensive front. Great job.

A 2nd string Offensive Line at that.

I guess Les Miles doesn't know how to recruit OLinemen.

It's always tough to run on Bama in a conventional manner. However, the pass blocking was superb.

The line was decent, which is certainly better than they have been.

Especially in the second half. A misdirection play call and few down the field receptions does make their job slightly easier. (i.e., keeps the D line from tee-ing off).

Did anyone notice that at the end of the second half T-Bob was replaced and 74 Josh Williford 6-7, 345, RSFR cam in the game. It was after he got beat on 2 plays. Seems T-Bob is a little to light at 285 to handle those big D-linemen in the SEC

Yeah the playcalling helped in the 2nd half, but the pass protection wasn't great, JJ was still getting rocked, he was just making quicker decisions.

Well, what it really shows is that Miles has no idea how to evaluate and start the right men.

I didn't notice. But I also didn't see T-Bob in the game. I agree that T-Bob is too small to play O-line in the SEC. Maybe he can make a switch to the D-line next year, if he has the quickness.
