Anyone from down south buy it like this? A friend of mine used to buy it this several years ago.

I would like to get some.

how large of a load would a ton of rice bran be? I guess 40 of the 50 pound bags that I buy, but I have never thought about how big that would be or if a truck could handle it in the bed

The bed of a truck is big enough I know people all the time that get it dumped in their bed then shovel it into old chest freezers or something to hold it in to keep it dry.

Unless you have a 3/4 or 1 ton truck bring a trailer with sides.

It's not. They make a liquid form and a powder form. It is mainly an attractant. You can pour the liquid kind on anything; mineral blocks, corn/rice bran piles, stumps, or the ground itself.

There is a guy out in New Roads that sells corn and Rice Bran in bulk...225-718-1458

A lot of places sell it in a super sack feed sack.

You'll probably need a tractor with a front end loader to unload it though. I'd get a tandem-axle trailer and haul it on that.
