Not a regular Huffington Post reader, but found this sort of interesting. Thoughts? Agree, disagree? Better suggestions for your state?

Louisiana's is "Southern Comfort." Never heard of that movie. Georgia's is "Deliverance"
I'm sure Wyoming is thrilled.

I disargee immediately with Louisiana. It has to be Steel Magnolias.
But, I would agree about 50/50 with most of it.
Hard to go with My Cousin Vinny in Alabama instead of Gump.
Maine is right on with Shawshank. As is West Virginia with Rocket Boys. Was Coal Miner's Daughter a TV movie?

Maybe.
And the Wizard of Oz doesn't take place in Kansas. I mean it "does" in the sense of the dream, but not aesthetically.
I don't know if the whole Delaware=Wayne's World is a joke or not. I mean, that joke is funny in the film, but it takes place in Aurora, Il.

I don't know man I'm fairly certain that the beginning and the end of The Wizard of Oz the black and white scenes do take place in Kansas.(I don't mean literally I'm sure it was filmed on a studio back lot)And at the end when she's back home in Kansas she isn't dreaming at all.
But I see what you're getting at in the general sense.

Georgia should be Gone with the Wind.
Did Glory even have a character from South Carolina?
No Country is not a good pick for Texas as you have so many movies about Texas to choose from and they have like 5 Cohen brother movies already.
Fight Club is the movie for Delaware.
