I agree 4 days is a lot there. You can take a train from Bergen to Geilo it is about 3 hours. Geilo is a ski town but there is a national park there above the tree line with a path to the mountain top. The steps of the path were set by Sherpa that lived there for like 2 years hauling and setting these massive stones up the mountain.
We took a flight from Bergen to back to Oslo. Only 1.5 hour flight. Bergen airport had tighter security than Oslo.

Went this past July. Took boat into Bergen through Fjord. Was fantastic. Bergen rains all the time. Even in July it was quite cold and wet. Great places to eat on water.
Thanks so much! I will email you now.
My mother in law and father in law live in torrey pines. Any word on how high water got? They have been out of town since before flood. Just trying to get an idea of place is a total loss.

He was great - 8 years ago our lab puppy was growling at our daughter - we were going to get rid of her (dog not daughter) vet told us to call Dick first. Spoke with us on the phone for over an hour - no charge - long story short - our lab is still with us. gave us sound advice about never having a dog in the house that is larger than your smallest child.
they used to have a winner's journal online - looked like none of the winners keep the home. sell it to pay prize taxes.

have you asked them if they still have it? i always get the bbq chicken - not on menu anymore but still fix it. they say they still offer many items that just are not listed anymore. mac and cheese is great.

you need to work her. we have a 7 year old lab - she was horrible for the first 2 years. then we taught her to fetch - she will fetch until she can't go anymore. when she gets restless/acts up - its outside for a workout. we also crate her during the day while we are gone and at night. don't have to worry about her tearing up the house. She is an inside dog.
steel magnolias is the best! coal miner's is not a t.v. movie - not certain but i think - she won an oscar.
