Miles and Passing Game (Advocate)

From the Advocate this morning:
Throwing balls? This is the reason we need an OC worth his salt. I know it is obvious to us that they don't know how to fix the passing game, but Leslie just came out and admitted it. WOW! Not that I expected any more, but this just dashed any hope I had about the passing game improving.

“We’re throwing it, I’ll tell you that,” Miles said after Tuesday’s practice, LSU’s first since the Auburn game. “I don’t know.
“We’re working at it, the players and coaches are taking the time, and we’re throwing balls.”

it's just as alarming as know the problem but not being able to fix it

Of course, Les thinks that as long as we throw more passes in practice, the better our passing game will be, that's all there is to it.

It has been the problem since mid season 2008.
We have tweaked our game a bunch, but no wholesale change in development or execution has occurred.
RR is a classic example on the INT. He found a nice hole in the zone, he kept drifting toward coverage he could have sat down...then our QB leads him into the coverage as well, adding a poor throw and a tipped ball to the problems. The fact we can.not recognize the coverage, attack it approppriately and execute with a throw and catch will not change no matter how many balls we chunk around.

Don't let facts or details get in the way of the whinefest.

He is clueLES. It is amazing that people actually defend him.

I watched La Tech's QB chuck some good passes againt BSU last night that looked much better than what either JJ or J. Lee have been throwing all season. Sad.

I don't think we have to worry about Miss St... but imagine if Newton had gone there

That's the problem! Quit throwing balls and start throwing strikes. Accuracy with JJ is his problem!

I saw the Tech QB throw some shite balls too.
