try some constructive criticism and back up your statements with some stats....then maybe people will take your thread seriously...

Constructive Criticism:

Miles is a great recruiter. However, the talent that he has assembled on offense has failed massively. If that is crowton's fault, then why not shitcan his arse last year? CFB is about results, not bosom buddies

Stats:

0-6 vs top ten teams last 2 years vs top ten

100th in total offense

The "purple swoon" in November last two years

Shall I keep going?

i really dont get this argument by people...just because these kids appear to be better in high school than other kids, it doesnt mean they will turn into better players in college. Sure we have as athletic of a team as anyone, but that doesnt mean we are head and shoulders ahead of anyone in the SEC not named Vandy...

You can't win every game, and if you were a fan in the 80s and early 90s you'd just learn that winning 8-11 games a year isn't really as bad as it seems. (and yes, that is admitting you are going to lose some games).

Look around you, they are everywhere, I know my tickets arent cheap. Say I run a holiday inn, and the shower in one of the rooms is broken, do I leave it and let people get more and more distraught, or do I man up and say that the product that i have has flaws and take the proper channels to fix it?

If that is the best argument you can make, maybe you should reconsider your career choice.

so you're saying Les should run down to the Home Depot and pick up a new OC and a couple of QB's? Damn...why didn't I think of that.

That is why we have recruiting services. Sure, some of them do not pan out, but a QB, 3 WRs, a RB who doesnt get many carries, I mean, that is one odd coincidence, dont you think?

I was a fan in the 90's. I went to every game with my parents, I went to Dinardo's (dont know how many of you remember that place)I went to the Arkansas game with Kevin Faulk after they fired Dinardo when people were giving these tickets away, I was there, times change, we have morre talent now than then

Say a guy calls and says "Im so and so, Im a season ticket holder, Ive donted x dollars to the program, and Im not happy, this is how I feel, this is what I think of how you are doing" Do you really think that is great PR?

Reading comprehension should really have been a better focus back in your school age days. It was a hypothetical situation.

Hypothetical Situation (N)- A situation may not be true, but used to demonstrate a point.

ie. say I kick you in the nuts, what would you do?

some of you people are so traumatized by the Curley Hallman years that you'll be happier than a fig in a room full of dicks with 8 wins, using the excuse
"it could be worse....remember the Curley Hallman years?" frick THAT shite! it could be BETTER....remember when LSU was a legitimate national title contender and actually put an organized, quality product on the field?

BTW, I WAS there for the Stovall, Archer, Hallman, and DiNardo years and recognize shitty football because of it.

No, I think some us just realize the reality that you can't win the National title (or your conference title every year).

Since Les has been here, we have stayed in the National conversation as well as the conference race almost every year. And we have the expectation of doing it every year. Back in those days, you were just happy to go bowling. That mentality is gone, and while I think the the goal should be SEC title EVERY year, I know it can't happen.

actually it was an analogy...and a poor one at that. good analogies offer the same scale and magnitude of the problems in question.

wow. one loss against the best player in College and we are already "run into the ground"?

good grief. Did you even go to school?? I am not a Miles man, but we just got beat by a better team on the road, but we can still win 10 games...not to mention still win the SEC west.
Do I believe we will win the west? No. But I will gladly take 10 wins this season knowing that it sets us well for the next season.
