against a 1AA opponent?

i'm asking b/c UO scored 60 last night against a BCS program

and you may wonder why UO has any link to LSU, but let us remember

1. their offense picked up when they let crowton go, and we hired him
2. they were proactive and hired chip kelly, which we could have done
3. derron thomas was going to commit to LSU until UO promised he'd be a QB only for them

Depends on who is QB.

JL: 4
JJ: Never

Depends if we are using the double secret playbook.

LSU doesn't care to score 60 points on a second rate team.

So it would take probably 2 whole games to score 60.

With the current staff and QBs, I would say 8 to 10 quarters. If we played 80% JLee at QB that number would drop to 5 to 7 quarters. If we let Crow go and pull in an aggressive OC, it drops much further.

We're averaging around 26 points per game. You do the math dip-shite.

Of course we all know where you are going with this and most of us agree. We get it, LSU's offense sucks. However, watching Oregon go for it on 4th and 6 on their side of the field on the opening drive of the game makes me wonder about Chip Kelly. I like them, but I don't like a lot of things about them. I much prefer a pro-style offense. These gimmicks usually are figured out.

60 points doesn't make you the best team.

Oregon put up impressive numbers last year. Ohio State got a month to prepare and dismantled them.

I would much rather win every game close and win my bowl game, then blow out most or all of my opponents and then be exposed in a BIG time bowl game.

Two things:

Miles doesn't score 60.

Miles wouldn't play Derron Thomas at QB.

no. winning your games against a good schedule does

AU or LSU will be close to UO after this week (and i think we have a good shot against AU)

i know. i picked OSU even though most people picked UO. thomas >>>>>>>>>>>>>> masoli

it's not like OSU was bad last year (or this year)

OSU typically defends the spread option well. i'm curious to see how we do against it this week. i think we can slow AU down

4. When they start KW

Go back to hiding Slo.

Did it ever occur to you that they aren't trying to score 60?

Other than AU who was the last SEC team to score 60? This ain't the Pac 10

i don't know why you'd ever choose not to put up as many points as you could

UTenn-UO: 48-13
UTenn-LSU: 16-14

for reference

Oh, I am always skeptical about any team outside of the SEC. They just dont have the physical tests that a team like LSU, BAMA, UF, or even Ole Miss has to go through.

If you put the top three teams of the SEC... this year LSU, BAMA, Auburn, and maybe Arkansas in the Pac-10, Big 10, or Big 12.... basically any other conference, they too would look pretty good.

Obviously I didn't get the hidden message.

Who cares that UO scores 60 points per game? They usually crumble in the BCS bowl against another good team.

A win = a win, and no matter what you score you get credit for it. BSU sneaks by LaTechs/Nevadas every year and blows out the rest. They still get credit and NC talk.

The SEC is better then the Pac 10.
