Positive spin--> JL is better off the bench? Doesnt have as much pressure as being a starter?

JL is better off the bench based on what evidence? What starts does he have that we can compare?

negative spin-> Lsu recieves goes three and out, Auburn gets ball scores, We get the ball say go get them LEE but he's got too much pressure because Auburns stadium is rocking and we go three and out once again....don't even get me started about the refs and the home cooking

Absolutely agree, dude. Let JL watch the defense for a couple of series, then come in and take care of business. What's more, JJ might have a better day passing the ball because the Auburn secondary is badly beat up.

Miles:
A bumbling public speaker? Yes
Elite gameday coach? Probably not
Idiot? Absolutely not

I am guessing that JL must perform better after the game gets started.

Evidence?

I would say history shows that he plays best when behind. I suppose you could argue that JL can spot 'em points/series as much as JJ can, but maybe that shakes him some.

I can't say I have evidence, but I will to defer to the head coach until he proves otherwise. Of course, this is EXACTLY what everybody's up in arms about. They all believe that it has been proven otherwise, but we've just happened to win for other reasons.

If he's better off the bench, kick to start the game! It's coming off the bench still.....I know they say he gets a chance to see the defense but that's bull shite. They play lee different than Jefferson anyway.

So, Miles hasn't shown incompetence to you before now? In any other year he's been here?

Which is precisely whey the QB that is a better passer should be in 100% of the snaps

I dont have much evidence that Lee is better off the bench, but there has to be some kind of method behind the madness. I mean for God's sake Jefferson looked bad against the likes of Mcneese. Unless the first play call of the game is a QB keeper he should not be the starter based on performance. The reason has to be to take some pressure off Lee.

You mean more than North Carolina's or as weak as McNeese?? That's is the weakest argument i've heard yet.

Not according to Lee's comments. He wants to be the starter.

so LSU wants to fall behind so that JL can play better?

If that is his logic, pathetic

The 'evidence' was in reference to JL being better off the bench. I don't really have any, but I'll defer to 7-0 Miles for now.

God I hope not. That's the only evidence I can see that JL is better in relief. Otherwise, my preference would be to start him.
