LSU -- You May Be Next -- Official Disaster

I'm an Arkansas fan but was born in New Orleans and have much of my family around Baton Rouge.
This is my post on The Bleacher Report. Replay doesn't help. Auburn or Arkansas fans can complain about officiating for themselves but it's not about any particular team. We must get a handle on officiating for the good of the Conference.
It's LSU's turn this week to be in the cross hairs of the situation.

But seriously im more worried about the refs than Cam Newton. That in itself is a huge problem

The referees are always horrible at Auburn. Just plain criminal. Were pretty poor at Bama last year too. Hopefully we overcome.

You would be foolish not to worry about Cam Newton. Some basketball players can put a team on their backs to win. This guy can do it with a football team.
From an Arkansas point of view, he's a bigger and stronger Matt Jones.

Everyone knows you can't go to Alabama and come out with a win without beating the Refs. That said, blow them out! Can't let the refs get to you, and you can't let the score be close.

I'm resigned to the fact that the "unfavored" team has to beat the opponent AND the officials.
It's tough enough to beat just one.

Didnt say i wasnt. Hes a very concerning threat that makes his skill players better than they are. However, even though yall got screwed last wkd LSU has been down that road on multiple occasions at the Barn and very afraid that the same guy that screwed us over at Bama 09 and Auburn 06 is doing this game

Time to do something about it.

It really doesn't matter if we overlook Cam Newton, I'm not suiting up. Cam Newton also hasn't had to go up against a defense like ours. Ryan Mallet might be good, but your defense is atrocious.

I'll eat crow if I'm wrong, but I will be absolutely SHOCKED if the refs don't play a significant role in this game.
Remember, this doesn't necessarily have to mean a weird late-game crucial call. The refs could hammer us early with strange penalties, forcing us to play apprehensive... afraid of the flag. No one can win a game like this if they are afraid to even touch their opponent.

No one ever gets a fair shake against bama and Auburn is pretty bad as well. SEC officials in general are pretty poor, but no one will ever get a fair shake as long as the SEC office is in Birmingham.
I've said it for years. The SEC home office needs to be moved to Indianapolis or Cincinnati and there needs to be regional offices for the referees in a place like Longview, Texas and Charlotte, NC.

If you see pass interference calls early or the failure to call plain holds, the handwriting will be on the wall.
The Auburn Phantom Touchdown call came in the second quarter.
The purported fumble by Broderick Green came in the third.
They'll spread it out enough.
