You're LSU's Def Coord. For The Aub Game. How Do You Stop Cam?

Obviously this site is full of opinions. So I wanna know who has the best Coach's scheme on stopping Cam. Here's My Scheme....
I say we send Tyrann Mathieu and Ron Brooks off the edges all night to pressure Cam. Tyrann is a big play waiting to happen. One of the best corner blitzers I've seen in a while. Ron Brooks is very fast and energetic. Not to mention we will have Mingo (even though Mingo doesn't start. He is a spectacular pass rusher) and Nevis penetrating the line of scrimmage as always. I say Kelvin Shep spy's all night and blitz him from time to time. He's very intelligent and probably the best candidate for a spy. Thats too much pressure. Not much time to decide where to throw the ball. Then knowing Cam, it will most likely be a lousy throw if he's pressured. There's not much room for an inaccurate throw on Pat Peterson or Mo Claiborne. The game will most likely turn into a pick 6 party then. I also say we rotate Pat Peterson with Tyrann as a rusher. This will help out because Pat Peterson is very fast, physical, strong, and capable of helping stop the run. Tyrann can hold his own at corner.
We Shutdown Cam, We Win. Simple as that!

Just knock the everloving hell out of him every time he touches the ball, which is every play.

I think you blitz up the middle. I would first see what our four man rush does(Nevis may be doing fine on his own), and if that ain't doing it, I like your idea of alternating PP and TM on blitz packages. From what I've seen, he likes the delayed run up the middle. I think that will be their plan, we have too much lateral speed. So, interior pressure will be the key.

First id start with different blitz packages BUT id drop a lineman back to cover a middle check down. Needa send at least 5 on 1st and 2nd and on 3rd and long im in the 3-2-6 with Kelvin spying his arse. The pressure from the blitzes should be enough IMO

I think you meant to say, "Please change the title to be correct, that's aggravating."
Get your punctuation right before telling others to do so.

Keep the middle of the line closed.

This is the correct answer. Hit him hard and often, he will be worthless by the 4th quarter.

everyone fails to mention that an important factor would be to get to an early two touchdown and hold it so he feels the need to throw it more.. im not sold on his passing abilities just yet, and he could struggle under pressure

So to answer the question, if you're LSU's Def coord., your strategy for stopping Cam Newton is to have the offense score 2 early TDs?
Gotcha.
