Asked if was feeling the pressure to beat Auburn and hold off Lee for the starting job, Jefferson said no. “No pressure,” he said. “He’s just had some great plays called for him, and he’s executed the way he’s needed to, to put points on the board. It just happens that way. Both of us are putting points on the board.”

Both of them are putting points on the board? And Lee has just had the benefit of good plays being called for him????

LINK

CLM needs to get him away from interviews because it seems like every week he says something stupid.

When JJ puts points on the board it's because Lee got him down to the 5 yd line...

Yes. Miles and JJ are running the same delusional subroutine, which may explain why they are so close.

JJ is his own PR man and he's doing a great job towards Les.

JJ is just like a child. I have no respect for him

This quote by Miles is extremely frustrating to read:

"Miles said he plans no major changes when his No. 6-ranked Tigers take on No. 5 Auburn (both 7-0, 4-0 Southeastern Conference) in a titanic showdown Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium (2:30 p.m., CBS)."

Yes, there will be a change. If JJ plays more than trivial plays, the change will occur on the "L" side of the W-L column with a big fat 1.

He is insane if he thinks that.

He is in denial and these stupid comments are pissing me off. He's not a team player.

JEEBUS!!

You folks are insane. The season is half over. Better start enjoying it while you can.

LSU is 7-0, ranked #6 in the initial BCS, playing #4 in the BCS.....and you are whining like little girls.

cut the guy some slack, he's been put in a very tough situation by the staff and likely has no one mentoring him on how to handle it.

The locker room is firmly behind Lee. If Les plays Jefferson substantially against Auburn and we lose it could get ugly.

Nope. When JJ puts points on the board, it's from turning over the ball to the other team and giving them short yardage. He scores for the enemy.

The offense seems to gain confidence when Lee is in the game. They know that he can complete a third down pass because he has proven it. If it is obvious that Lee is playing better at the position why doesn't he see the most playing time?

ForeLSU can bleaux me! the guy is a junior starting q.b. of one of the BEST college programs in the country, and now because we learn that j.j. really has a problem thinking and processing the information in a timely fashion, we should "cut" him some slack? you are just as delusional as he is! if it wasn't for the General Lee staying with LSU, j.j. would not have an additional 7 wins as the "starter".

JJ is just regurgitating what he hears from Miles.

Unless treated like a man, he will never grow up to face responsibility.

Miles and staff continue to treat him like a spoiled child.

This is a correct statement! JL puts points on LSU’s board and he puts point on our opponent’s board!

you mean the guy who said he played well after going 3/10 for 2 ints against UT doesn't have a very good grasp on reality? Shocker

This has been my feeling ever since I watched Jefferson throw a fricking fit when he was pulled in the UT game. I told my wife that this coaching staff is not pushing him to grow up.
