Auburn is a good team, but they were within a questionable call of losing this weekend. Now everyone's talking about a title run. It seems like they've forgotten that defense matters. Arkansas' 2nd string qb's stats:

Tyler Wilson 25/34 332yards 73.5% 4TDs 2int

uhhh...that is one shitty pass defense. 1 of the reasons their run D is so good (statistically) is b/c everyone passes on them b/c their secondary is so bad. Why even bother running?

The real question is: What can the 92nd best offense do against them. This will be interesting.

The media has always loved offense. See 2003, LSU got no respect, even going into the championship game. OU was billed the best team in college history, and lost the last two.

Wow! I just noticed this.

Turnovers:
Ark: 3 Aub:0

I have a want for us to achieve victory through finishing second in turnovers

Media love doesn't win games. Winning games is all we should care about right now.

Don't worry...JJ will turnover the ball a few times. If JL plays 60% of the snaps then we should have more then enough points to stop this AU team.

we will be underdogs again and the majority of people should pick auburn I bet this motivates our players and we out play auburn the question is do we limit the mistakes enough to win the game

We play best when we are getting dogged. Maybe that was Les' motivation for the sluggish McNeese performance. Right? Right?

Hell, Kentucky should have beat Auburn. Questionable calls won that game for the Aubies too. Kentucky ran and passed at will. Makes you wonder what the hell is going on with AUBURN AND THE ZEBRAS!

Exactly! That was the play all along.

One interesting point: Did you notice we scored on the last drive by running the exact same play over and over....the pitch inside run? I thought it was odd that we were able to move the ball with the same play - yet sorta' struggle the rest of the time.

I agree with this. However If LSU wants to keep throwing that stupid sideline pattern, They won't touch 200 yds.

If you think this means that AU shouldnt be ranked that high, then you would have to apply the same process to LSU, and by your terms, we probably shouldnt even be ranked.

we barely win every week. (slight exaggeration, but you get the idea)

Ummmm....13 men on the field isn't the reason we're 7-0 not 6-1?

Yeah these fricktards don't know that we play only one play in each game and that is the "lucky play of the day - chosen by media/rant"

frick the other 150 plays in each game played by the O/D and ST and how we dominate in those.

Let us concentrate on one or two plays for the entire reason for our winning record - woohoo.

This. It drives me insane that we keep doing the same things over and over and over, even when they don't work.

Auburn is exciting and can strike at any time. LSU will need to be extremely sharp to win this game. IMO, this is the game I picked us to lose at the beginning of the season. But, we have a chance to shut them up on the Plains.

Don't forget about the kickoff return for a td that Auburn got.

I agree, but let's not get too crazy about our own resumé!

me too.

But after seeing the potential during the Florida game, I think we win it.

I also think the fact that AU is coming off an emotional win will play a role. They may not be all that sharp.
