All-Favorite Team

I was thinking about who my favorite players at each position has been since I really started following LSU football my first year at LSU in 03. I'd decided to write up a little all-favorite team and let anyone else write up who their favorite players are and why. Just a fun little way to pass time.
QB- Andrew Hatch. I know, crazy first pick but I always liked Hatch because he wasn't afraid to go up against guys twice his size (coincidentally he got knocked around a few times). IMO we used him wrong in 08 and he could have made use of more screens and option plays (where he actually pitches)
RB- Trindon Holliday. Maybe not a true RB but every time he got the ball it was exciting. He could turn a blown play into a TD in one quick move. Really fun to watch and cheer for.
WR- Jared Mitchell. A man among boys. Okay his success in baseball is why he was probably a favorite but I did like his toughness on the gridiron.
WR- Early Doucet. Seems like he played here forever but was an amazing playmaker on the field. Still remember the INT against Auburn in 04 that was his fault though! haha
PR/KR- Skylar Green. This could be bias because he is from where I'm from but he had some amazing PR/KR that could rival PP and TH.
DT- Chad Lavalais. Nuff said! haha
Obviously this team is incomplete but it was just an idea I had.

Is there any proof of this?

Hey, they were my favorites
Like I said, it would not be fair to list anyone in previous decades because I spent the first part of my life as an avid basketball fan and nothing else. I was always too small to play football so I never got into it until high school.

I agree, but by their own admission, they haven't been around long enough to even know who that is.

If you're only going post-2000, what about Bradie James? Corey Webster? Marquise Hill? Chad Lavalais?

This isn't an all-time Tigers or all-decade Tigers team. I enjoyed the hell out of watching Alem play, moreso than Lavalais or Webster. While I appreciate the things those guys did for the program and recognize their excellence, I subjectively liked Alem's style of play better. Going by your standards, the original poster's endorsement of Andrew Hatch should have given you a heart attack.

jack hunt was good, but not even close to the level of laron.... jakc hunt would get run over pretty consistently during games but i believe he played 'smart"

Rahim Alem was a POS. I'm glad he's gone, and that's a reason our D-line is playing SO much better. Rushing the QB is the only thing he knew how to do. He would just run 5 yards up field every play, even if it was a run play. If it were a pass play, most of the time the QB could easily step up in the pocket. And if it were a run play, all the running back would have to do was cut to where he should have been.
