Once heard a urban myth about LSU and the Saints

I heard about this back in high school but it is said that when LSU does well the Saints does not, the same is true vice versa.

there is something about that LSU, Tulane, and the Saints never all win on the same weekend.....

I lived through several years where they both sucked on a consistent and equal basis...

The Saints were always terrible, and only started to get really good once Mike Archer was hired to coach LSU. The Saints started to suck again when Gabe Northern and Kevin Faulk went to LSU. Tulane had its miracle undefeated season when both LSU & the Saints were terrible.

True story.

My 'holy trinity" is when LSU and the Saints win and the Cowboys lose. Saints blew it. Cowboys losing sometimes overrides a lot of pain!~
