LSU is the underdog it's not like we are playing vandy , I think the fanbase will be alright regardless

Tomorrow night is going to be miserable. If JJ plays well or Lee plays well, there will be numerous threads bashing the other fella. If both suck, well....pretty much the same except folks trying to convince the other who sucked more. Even a flawless game by both will end up in a booger flicking contest between the two camps.

from what I've been reading, the LSU fan base is skidding along on rims already!
if LSU wins, but coaching gaffs are still evident, it will be situation normal with LSU fans. "Sure we beat UF, but they actually suck. And what kind of call was that on 3rd and long, blah blah blah..." I will likely be one of the whiners too!

My take on this game is like this, we need to keep it respectable. In the big picture, if we have to lose a game, this is the one. We need to be competitive at worst. We can lose this game and still win the west and if we win the west we have a shot at the conference championship, and a chance at the NC.

If we look and play like a competently-coached team, the reaction should be reasonable in the case of a loss. If we get simply competent play and coaching, this should be a win though.
