I've made chili for years but this winter, I want to mix it up and try something different. Does anyone have a good recipe for taco soup?

I usually get 2 large cans of progresso minestrone soup w/ kidney beans, 1 can of yellow corn, 1 can of rotel, 1 pound ground beef, and a package of taco seasoning. Brown the meat/drain grease then add to the soup, add in the rotel and corn. Then toss in the seasoning packet, let it cook for a little while, then shred some cheddar to put on top in your bowl. Very simple and pretty cheap.

Dice onion and cook with meat. Add taco seasoning packet and mix well. Add 4-6 cups water, depending how far you need to stretch it. Dump veggies in and cook for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with chips, sour cream and cheese

This is basically the recipe I use but I use chili beans and as I like corn I use two cans but I don't drain the corn. Rather then adding water I just use the water the corn is packed in.
I love taco soup, it is so easy to make and good on a chilly night.

Look up Paula Dean's recipe. It is close if not the same to most but very good and very fricking easy.

Yeah I usually just pour water until it looke like enough. I forgot the rotel tomatoes in the recipe as well. They will add some liquid to it
