I'm not saying that he'll be fired on the way to Baton Rouge if LSU loses. I just mean that if LSU loses, will the atmosphere become so toxic that Miles will not be able to continue on?

I think that 3 losses this year might be different than 3 losses in another year. We are insanely talented. I saw a Florida fan the other day say that LSU was more talented that Florida was and they've had incredible recruiting classes and 2 national championships. With losing 5 and 4 games the past two years and the constant mismanagement, will Les survive losing to Florida and maybe Auburn/Arkansas and Alabama?

How bad will things get if LSU looks bad on Saturday and loses?

Personally, I think we win. But, I'm wondering how much pressure Miles is feeling right now. Will he pull out all the stops knowing that his margin of error has eroded? Will that impact the way that this game is coached? Or, will he play it conservative hoping to eek one out? Will we see a return of the Mad Hatter or will we just see more madness?

His arse will be burning with a loss. His best bet is to win them all.

No but he has to go at least 3-2 the rest of the way in SEC play.

actually, I feel that we need to beat either UF or Auburn. If we are playing BAMA with 1 SEC loss then the winner of that game is in drivers seat for the West. If we lose both UF and AU then things fall apart for the rest of the year because our goals are no longer in reach.

People should actually read the post instead of just the title.

Will things become so unbearable if Miles loses Saturday that he will not be able to continue in the toxic atmosphere that has been created? If he has lost the entire fanbase, how can he continue on, even though one loss should not merit that type of reaction.

In reality, the attitude of the fanbase is almost like we are 2-3 headed into Gainesville. That is how everyone feels. If we lose this weekend, does that create an avalanche that Miles can't dig out of.

Again, I think we win 27-17.

he can continue on because of two things: he hasn't lost the entire fanbase and fans don't play
