After reading these stats i still come to the conclusion that I watched the game with my own eyes Saturdays and it is readily apparent that Lee is the better quarterback of the two. What were the passing stats? We dont need Jefferson to run the ball, thats why we have players like Ridley, Blue, Ford, Sheppard, Ware, and plays to get the ball in the hands of all of them plus toliver and randle

Obviously the running game is more effective with JJ in the game. Perhaps that's why he is starting Saturday....

Obviously you don't know shite about sample sizes

Anyone can manipulate numbers.

JJ was on the field for 2 TDs.

Lee was on the field for 0.

There's no doubt that the passing game is better with Lee. But he also had his shaky moments, and if a team is able to whip our OL and get to him, we'll probably see some bad throws again (based on what he showed us against UT).

But JJ is now proving just as likely to throw picks as JL, with or without good protection. At the end of the day, the best option is to go with JL, hope you can protect him, and throw in some wildcat to balance Ridley's inside game. Problem is the staff would rather use JJ than a true wildcat weapon.

i have this feeling with both QB's. Lee is getting his shot but the memory still remains.

JJ got 2/3rds of the snaps (or more)...ergo, you fail in your analytical assessment. Try again, please.

JJ did absolutely nothing on the TD drive but be in the middle of the most confusing clusterfrick I've ever witnessed. That was Lee's drive.

Or was that JJ out there converting a 3rd and long and a 4th and 14?

More likely...over the past 2 games JJ is averaging:

1 pick for every 8 attempts.

or

1 pick for every 3.25 completions.

Jefferson got more yards per play than Lee did.

Even counting the two plays at the end of the game for Jefferson.

I'm in the processing of adding up number of plays, but right now I got JJ with 32 plays...which would mean Lee had more plays..

JJ 32 plays
Lee 37 plays

The only argument for JJ is that his presence on the field spreads the defense out because of the "threat" of the option / his running "ability". And this makes the running game better.

But if our fool coaches could figure out a way to make RS or someone else the outside threat while keeping the passing threat of Lee in the game, you'd think that Ridley would benefit.

How about yards per attempt? There are stats in this game that favor both qb. I'll go with the guy who passed the ball more efficiently and who led a clutch drive on which he completed his first 5 throws.

You should do that when either throw the ball. I think people who like JL and hate JJ saw only the couple good moments and ignored the fact that he was still making some very poor decisions.

But I blame Miles for their lack of development when it comes to decision making - what can he teach them about snap decisions.

Yes, there clearly fricking is you moron.

Your contention is that it's "obvious" that the running game is better when Jefferson is in because Ridley has better numbers. You don't have a large enough sample to make that statement.

Anyone who knows anything about anything agrees with me on that.

I was referring to this game in context.

How you chose to interpret it is your own problem. Sorry that you can't read. Either that or you fail to interpret data properly.

Right. And that's obviously because of the 83 yard run which is a huge outlier.

You know this. Stop making stupid pointless arguments.

It's not my problem. I'm interpreting the data as someone who is intelligent and you're interpreting it as a moron who is trying to create some narrative to justify a stupid position.
