I don't care who starts but I feel pretty certain Lee will get 75%+ of the snaps

I am sure they are practicing the option with Jefferson to the short side of the field. The Florida defense will never be expecting that! We'll be unstoppable. :/

I hope you are right and I am a complete FAIL at my prediction.

My problem with what we did this past weekend, as in switching off series with the QB's, is you don't give either QB an opportunity to establish rhythm or consistency. At least give them back to back series or something.

And the MF/RP thing worked because we had plays ready to go ahead of time... I don't see that working here because we have a difficult enough time getting the play in when we have the right personnel on the field to begin with.

My gut tells me Miles starts JJ and stays with him. And somehow I think that JL will go in at the worst time. Like if we get behind or 3rd and long etc...

My guess:

Les will likely start JJ (to soothe JJ's fragile psyche?!!), but play Lee more than any game so far this year...

Regardless of who is or isn't, wouldn't we want Florida to have to prepare for both?

How difficult is, really, to prepare for JJ? Your three options are:

1. he'll keep the ball and run.
2. he'll hand off to Ridley.
3. he'll throw the ball to a defender or to the ground.

No wonder he's the leader of the most powerful offense LSU has ever fielded.

Better question... Who's getting more reps in the 2 min. drill Miles or Crowton?

I hope CLM doesn't rotate QB's out after each offensive series. JL needs solid playing time to get in sync running this offense.

Don't bite my head off, but I heard JJ about 70/30. Both are sharing equal time in practice and should be a game time decision. I don't know how reliable my source is at practice though so I can't really say it's going to be Jefferson

So it sounds like throw JJ out there, let him frick up to justify Lee playing the rest of the game? I

interesting strategy Cotton, lets see how it works for em'

I lol'ed

On another note, assuming we keep switching qbs in and out, I can't wait to see how many delay of game and illegal formation penalties we rack up as a result

I pray Miles is saying "just like last week" to keep Meyer guessing, even though there isnt much guesswork involved when JJ is under center.

Looking at the UT game, I think Lee did well, but he definitely needs more reps and more game time. He underthrew those two corner routes in the red zone, one of which was picked. He made a good read. He just needs more work on throwing the route in live action against an 11 man defense. That kind of issue can be fixed in weekly practice, along with normal gameplan preparation. Same thing with Lee giving up the delay of game in the 4th quarter. You could see his face in the close-up. He knew he messed up. He needs those reps and game snaps, especially in the McNeese game coming up, to get his feel and awareness back. Take away those mistakes, and his grounding penalty, and you will have some really solid performances.

FWIW Miles has already switched to Lee.

He used them both in the UT game to make UF prepare for both (option QB [ugh] and passing QB) JJ may start and run a series, but after that it will be Lee for 75% of the game, and JJ spinkled in with the read option BS just bc he broke a 86 yard run last week.

JJ and miles just cant accept that he is NOT an sec QB. hell he ant even a D 1 QB. i just dont understand why they would put him in there to run the ball when we have shep to do that. just give the ball to SR and ride to victory :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
