100% of UGA fans I spoke with at the UGA-CU game Saturday were in agreement over Richt's tenure having run its course.

The big difference, at least with the people that I spoke with, is they're resigned to their fate. They talk about it in rational terms, like it's already a done deal and they're just plodding through the season.

We're in a very different situation. We're snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, sure, but they're still VICTORIES. The way we're winning is excellent fodder for argument.

Our winning ways piss off the media because they want a winning team to dominate in all facets of the game. They feel like they're being cheated if victory is not achieved in a way that they APPROVE of. Plus, Bama and Oregon destroying people is getting old. Nobody gives a rat's arse about Boise State anymore. Old news.

LSU currently provides fuel for a bunch of blowhard idiots with journalism degrees or mediocre college football pedigrees to blah blah blah for days on end because they're too lazy to do their jobs and find some real information, some real analysis, to discuss.

Richt is out. UGA sucks. Dooley gets a pass because of Kiffin and the declining state of Tennessee football.

I say bring that shite on. The topics on this board seem to be taking a turn. It's time to circle the wagons. One of the great things about LSU fans is their ability to tell everybody on the planet to F*CK OFF. Let's start doing that instead.

It's more fun.

Dooley took a 17 point underdog into Tiger Stadium and should have come out with a win. His team sorely lacks in talent.
Dooley will learn from that situation.
Our coaches continue to make the same mistakes over and over.
There is a big difference.

Its all the media's fault.

And Crowton's.

And Peveto/Mallory's.

And Jimbo's.

And the players'.

And the referees'.

When LSU beats Florida, all the haters will suddenly be all back on the bandwagon.
No they won't. They will never back Miles until he beats Bama. If he can do that this year the chatter would stop.

I guess I'm just tired of LSU fans beating the hell out of each other. It's more fun when we beat the hell out of anybody outside of our fan base.

I hate to go all Rodney King, but can't we all just...

...find a common enemy outside the Tiger Nation and relentlessly beat the hell out of them?

Maybe because of the abundant level of talent Miles has to work with...?

I don't know what media you're listening to but they are calling for Richt's head in GA.

Richt has lost Bill King of Rivals Radio; flat out says Richt can't fix the problem at UGA and needs to resign gracefully or the AD needs to fire him.

Bill King just laughs at Les Miles, as he has done for a while.

When you've lost Bill King you're in trouble.

Mister Lahey would have closed that game out better than Miles.

everybody gets a pass except for Miles. stoops lost his QB last year, went 8-5 and no one says a word.

we lose perriloux, go 8-5, and assholes on here are calling him every juvenile name they can think of.

stoops wins a title in year 2 because hes so awesome. Miles wins a title in year 3 because hes a dumbass.

Dooley gets a pass because we shouldn't have been in that game to begin with.

63 scholarship football players. 3 true freshman starting on the o-line, the other two are sophomores. First year QB. Freshman and sophmores only in the secondary. only 1 true DT, and a coaching staff in it's first year together.

LSU SHOULD have won that game by atleast 2 touchdowns.

Yah Dooley does look bad for the f'up at the end of the game.

But not as bad as Miles for allowing UT to compete.

Hell it is an interesting story. The fan base is in revolt and calling for the head of the coach and the team is 5-0 in the toughest division of all of college football. A fan base calling for the head of a losing coach is dog bites man.

True. Everyone looks at the talent (fairly consisitent top 5 recruiting classes)and blames Miles for not doing enough with them. But at least we have to acknowlege that Miles does bring in the talent. There's no guarantee that another coach would recruit as well as Miles.

So the question is: Would LSU be better off with a great coach or great talent? Obviously, we had both when Saban was here. But he's gone and he's not coming back.

As for our not "dominating" our opponents like some of the other top teams do, let's be fair and admit that our defense and special teams have tended to dominate our opponents. It's our offense that has been ineffective, largely due to the QB situation, and has repeatedly shot itself in the foot with penalties and turnovers.
If not for the three interceptions, LSU would have won that game easily and probably covered the 2-3 TD spread.

Miles is absolutely responsible, but I think Crowton is the real problem.

Well, except for the fact that every LSU coach for the last 30 years except Mike Archer has recruited well. LSU is one of the easiest places in the country to recruit.

I remember Richt calling a TO he didn't have. Hey, tomorrow they'll be tearing apart someone else. Frankly, going into the game, I had a high opinion of Derek Dooley, but after the way he acted like a petulant child who didn't get any ice cream before dinner...and blaming is own coaching mistakes on the refs...well, I think he's a mere shadow of his father ... hmmm, seems TN has another coach who is the mere shadow of his father.

so tired of hearing this angle. how big of a favorite was he against u.a.b. at home? should the game have gone to two o.t.'s? doesn't he have more talent than u.a.b.?

you think u.t. fan's should be happy they have a coach "learning" on the job? i don't think the tiger nation would be happy.

dooley lost that game. he showed to be a poor game manager himself. he had the game won in the last three minutes at the lsu 30 with 2nd and 2 have a 8 yard run. what did he do? pass, loston dropped a easy int. it stopped the clock. he could have ran the clock down to a minute. he was at the lsu 30 four times and got ZERO POINTS. 3 of those times he had second and 2 or 3. he went for it on 4th down twice. one f.g. and the lsu t.d. doesn't matter.

he tops that poor coaching job by having 13 players on the field.

les made a boneheaded move. dooley made a worse move.
