yeah I think he was asking about a medical red shirt

about 20 people responded to the status update, half we're saying be positive and wishing him quick recovery, etc. but half of them we're asking for more details and he didn't say anything. Didn't want to be the nosy disrespectful fan all in his shite. I'm sure we'll all know soon enough, just seeing if I missed something already reported that Google didn't tell me.

Since he has already used a redshirt he cant get a redshirt now. The only other option would be to have his eligibility extended with a waiver of the 5 year rule. That would happen after he has completed 5 years not now, and it is normally reserved for players who have missed 2 or more years due to injury or something else


Slammin' Sammy is not a candidate for med RS and will most likely not be a good candidate to get extended eligibility unless this prevents him from playing next year as well
