How much exercise do you do that you can eat 1600 calories and be negative? Or do you just mean with your exercise you are under the goal?
I mean my goal is 1720 calories, in usually around 1800 eaten and then 500+ calories reduced due to cardio a day

I heard it's really unhealthy to go below 1800 calories if you're a male and 1200 for female.

I over did it today. I did a half marathon. I usually try to shoot for 10,000 steps jogging/walking per day (5 Miles).
I'm usually between 1500-1800 food calories per day since I started. Weekends I seem to push 2,000+.
They say you need to get at least 1200 calories per day or you go into starvation mode (do not want)
It's been going pretty good so far and I feel like I have a lot more energy since I started exercising daily. I've been doing most of it on a treadmill for the past week due to the weather.
ETA: I've only had a net negative daily calories twice over the past month and that's from lots of cardio.
