Oh. I weigh daily. When I don't bad things tend to happen.

Yesterday's indulgence of ice cream and beer didn't hurt, damn gf's mother makes me need a drink after she visits

daily weigh-ins for me, about the same time, in the same place, wearing the same thing. No OCD here.

Daily weigh ins. I have a routine. Wake up, piss, turn on shower, weigh while the shower warms. If I'm hung over, in a rush, or if I change my routine in any way, I'll forget.
I was scared to weigh this morning. Drank heavily Saturday night, then yesterday I had a bacon cheeseburger and a bunch of Chinese food.. and hot wings for dinner

About as bad as I expectd

Random weigh ins. Scale is in my brothers bathroom so whenever he isn't around I'll go. Usually different times of the day. Always with no clothes on
I need a scale for myself. Do those BMI and body fat scales work??

Meh. It'd help keep track but I doubt it's that accurate.

Figured as much. I'll just get a regular scale.

Hung with some old friends from high school last night, I didn't plan on drinking but I decided to have a couple of captain and diet cokes... that lead to more drinking, which lead to beer, which lead to breaking my fast.. with bad food. Oh well, live to fight another day. Back at it.

I weigh nearly everyday and just look for an average downward trend.
Pretty much what I do.

Didn't have a good Sunday. Family party. Lots of honeybaked sandwiches. Chips & dips. Cookies.
I left hungry but still ate some bad sammiches and several visits to the better cheddar.
Up big on Monday but today I am just about back to where I was on Saturday.
Need a good Tuesday & Wednesday because we are having Guy's Shrimp and Roast beef poboys on Thursday.
Also have 2 trips to Casa Garcia in the near future.
The numero uno isn't bad but tough to keep the hands out of the darn chip basket.

Question for those who have hit maintain weight:
What now?
I hit my goal weight (170 and I'm 6'0+ tall), and have really just been hovering anywhere between 166-170 for weeks, no matter my diet. In short, I've eaten like shite and drank as much as I want and really not see any difference in weight or body composition.
In fact, my body probably looks better than it ever has. I do workout 5-6 times a week and I'm a fairly light eater as is.
But... I would like to maintain a healthier diet. My biggest vice is definitely sugar/sweets/dessert. I can cut almost anything else without real frustration. But when you reach a point where nothing seems to really adversely affect... hard to cut anything.
Any thoughts? Advice?

I don't know what maintenance is like.. but I imagine you can relax a little more and if you gain 5-10 pounds just hit it hard again.

Yeah, I'm kinda in a "what do I do now?" stage.
My weight loss started from 2 reasons
1) I was overweight/unhappy with my weight
2) I needed to get in shape to compete in a race.
So I lost 20+ pounds and now I'm just sorta maintaining. I would like to ratchet up my fitness level, which I think is a very solid B right now, because I'm interested in competing in more races/competitions. And I'm sure my diet should support this. Just not sure what to do...

Not true.....
I tried "maintenance" thinking I didn't have to work as hard since the weight came off a d guess what I started outing it back on. Then because I had slacked I developed some bad habits again and it became harder to take it back off. I think keeping it off is harder than taking it off

Maintenance is just as difficult as losing it.
There is a reason 99% of people who drop weight gain it back.
Your mindset changes to gaining a few pounds won't hurt....then next thing you know the scale is up 30!
I will always have a fat brain. Not like I somehow stopped liking the garbage that got me in trouble.
I need to do a much better job of hitting the brakes and the panic button BEFORE things get out of control.
Haven't mastered that step yet.

Well once I reached and exceeded my goal weight I kept at then I started going out more, eating out more, drinking more, and my exercise went from 2 hours a day to an hour to 30 minutes, to every other day. Then when I tried to "ramp it up" I just didn't have same motivation/energy so I put on 10 and didn't think anything about it. Then 10 became 20 and then 30 and I was finally like oh shite, even though I still don't snack like I did when I was big, I don't eat fast food, and I don't drink cokes, I still put on weight it just came back slower
