not to depress you more, but Meyers would have at QB taking Tim's place and the show would continue. He would either be handing it off to Rainey or Demps or taking it to the house himself. He would be another Heismann contender and the Florida show with Scumbag Meyers would continue!

That video is not new to me, and I am sickened everytime I see it as to how wasted his talents are here at LSU. If he was at Michigan, he'd be a Heismann trophy candidate at QB.

frick Michigan, they have found their man, it's Florida he could have gone to and still be a Heismann contender!

I still don't understand how he has never gotten a chance to make a throw. I know it's high school too, but he makes throws in that video that Jefferson hasn't and can't make. He also sets his feet well when he throws. You can bash this kid's throwing mechanics all you want but he still looks better than Jefferson. The fact is we don't have a coach that can develop his talent at the quarterback position. If Denard Robinson and Pat White can be successful college quarterbacks then there is no reason Sheppard couldn't. It's just sad he was never really given an opportunity.

he moved to receiver because he wanted to be on the field helping the team in any capacity, Miles and Crowton for some reason are intent on stickin with jefferson at QB, they have made that clear!

Lets remind everyone of his own words on the move:
quote:
"Jordan (Jefferson) is the quarterback of this team. That's clear. We're only a year apart. The Florida game (in which he amazingly was never put on the field for a single snap) made me open my eyes and realize I probably needed to make a switch. I want to play in the atmosphere. I don't want to be a five- or 10-(play) guy, I want to be able to play 60 snaps.
Shepard is a smart guy. He knew, as everyone else with a brain knows, that Miles was going to stick with Jefferson no matter what. He also could see the writing on the wall and knew that he would never get a full early shot at playing QB for LSU. Moreover, the coaches had him attending meetings with the QBs...then the WRs...then the RBs. Shepard said himself that it was exhausting and he could not focus at all on just playing QB because of the way he was being used. He did not want to go on for years being used this way. Moreover, he did not want to spend most of that time standing on the sidelines watching the action.
Shepard asked for the move because HE KNEW that he would continue being misused by the coaches and Jefferson would always be the QB. He is just too much of a team player to say it that way in public. Miles and Crowton are guilty of the most utter FAILURE in the way they have misused Shepard. Total complete and utter failure.

I agree with you on the Miles sticking with Jefferson, but Shepard is the the type of guy that just wants to get on the field anyway he can to help the team win, that's the kind of guy he is.
