Tiger "fans" who leave before game is decided, WTF?

LSU can't count on its home crowd to be there at full throated roar when the defense needs them the most? Unfreakingbullievable.
The booing is bad enough but the leaving early is worse.
Hey you crybabies if you want LSU to win the ultimate prize this year you are going to have to do your job and make maximum noise for four quarters.
Alabama will punish you quitters with a game winning TD drive if you don't stay and fight with your players to the bitter end.
The noise advantage noticeably weakened in the fourth quarter last night. The announcers pointed it out and the camera shots of lots of empty seats don't lie.
Yeah the passing game stinks but guess what, national titles have been won before on the strength of a great defense and a potent running game and marginal at best passing game.
YOU HAVE THAT. DO YOUR DAMN JOB AND SUPPORT FOR 4 QUARTERS. YOUR TEAM IS PLAYING HARD, CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT?
America now knows LSU has a bunch of crybaby fans will quit on their team, literally walk out of the stadium.
Here's an idea - vent your frustration at Miles/Crowton/JJ/whoever by yelling your fool heads off at the strategically correct times.
Would that be so hard?

I was sitting in the South Endzone for first time only third time total out of student section since I graduated in 08. This completely infuriated me. I started yelling at all the people leaving around me. There must've been at least 15-20 empty seats that just in my near vicinity mid way through the fourth.
Not to mention all these nuns sitting on their hands on third downs.

how about with 5 minutes at the end of the 1st half when the crowd and the team took off. WVU drove down and made it a game.

Student section was pretty good last night, but I don't wanna hear from "old Tiger Fans" when half of their section was gone in the 4th.

WORST "FANS" IN CFB!

But it was late. Had to beat the traffic. Blah blah blah fricking blah blah blah.
It is like beating a dead horse but I agree with you. Anyone who claims that LSU fans "are the greatest fans in the world" is just full of shite.

Got called out on it by the announcers near the end of the game. Said something along the lines of "around 65,000 still in the stands," and "they couldn't believe so many would leave during such a close game."
I was surprised they didn't actually come down on the fans that booed. As bullshite as it was to boo, the announcers almost seemed to understand...JJ played so badly...again. Kept showing fans with heads in their hands after bad JJ plays. Said "LSU fans know their football." Well, that last thing they said isn't totally true, but you can't expect the announcers to be right on everything.

FIFY - I could not stand it any more. I felt like I was watching paint dry. It was truly nauseating.

Many of these early leavers are the same people who act like those who don't (or can't) attend games in person are inferior. Their social life revolves around the fact that they're going to the game, "saturday night in Tiger Stadium...", all that BS. Then once they've fulfilled their self-proclaimed trip to nirvana by showing up, they're free to head out and beat the traffic, etc. I wonder how many of them don't even listen to the game on the radio on the way home.

Now if only those 20,000 fans stopped buying tickets, I guarantee you Miles arse would be on a plane back to big ten country.

Blah Blah Blah
You pay for the tickets and you can give them to a Homeless person to sleep in the stadium if you want.
This team is NOT going to win a national title with this crap offense and no passing game. That will never happen.

blah blah and blah
Let's whine about coaching.
Let's whine about JJ.
Let's whine about JJ's facial expressions.
blah blah
Let's whine about fans who leave rather than stay and boo.
Let's whine about fans who buy tickets.
Let's whine about fans who sit down.
Let's whine about fans who stand up.
Let's whine about WV fans whining.
Let's whine about the boss, the wife, the kids... oh yea, no kids huh... if you had kids you might realize there might be greater priorities than sitting and watching the Tigers barely win, or blow a 17-0 lead...
blah blah blah
I stayed to the end, but can certainly understand why anyone would choose to leave early... they paid, they saw enough... and left. Big deal.
Few things in life at 50% effectiveness would keep anyone's attention for 4 hours.

It's total BS for the early leavers to blame it on the Tigers lackluster offense. When the Tigers run up a big lead, they leave even earlier!!!!
There are a lot of people whose personal ego is boosted by being able to say "I was at the game", even if they were only there till the middle of the third quarter.
