"It's one of those things that you put to the back of your mind because it's not conceivable to be real honest with you," Miles said. "Anybody in the right frame of mind who wears an LSU jacket, shirt, T-shirt comes into our stadium who has the LSU license plate, who cares so much and is so passionate for each of these teams that they could possibly [boo]. I wonder if they realize how they represent themselves when they boo. I've got to be real honest with you, as an older man, I don't think I've ever booed in my life. I really mean that because I realize how hard it is to play. ... Our team flew around and busted their tail and they were not perfect.
"But to think that somebody can boo great effort? Are you kidding me? It doesn't make any sense. ... I can promise you this. That guy, he goes to work. He goes to the coffee pot and complains about the coffee and he didn't make it. He goes home and he sees his wife and you know what, she's not dressed very nice. And you know what? He goes to bed early because he doesn't want to talk to her. And frankly she doesn't want to talk to him. And it's just a fact."

I understand his point but he has to understand the immense disappointment.

Miles needs to shut his 4 million dollar mouth up and freaking coach.
It's HIS FAULT people booed..........HE IS TO BLAME for everything that took place in that stadium and everything that has happened to JJ.

Easy for a guy making 4 mill a year to not see what we see.Cost of season ticket and etc.is pocket change for him.All we ask as fans is give JL a REAL chance to succeed.

If he thinks that offense that has gotten progressively worse under Crowton is "great effort" then he deserves the boos. Note to him, the players aren't being booed but the coaches are. People spend a lot of money to go to these games and you are making millions off of the fans. The boos are your warning and if you don't realize that and fix this putrid offense, then you'll get a pink slip eventually.

In all fairness a lot of people booed after we WON the game and Jefferson came back in to mop up.

Most fans are probably booing Miles but the kids don't see it that way. I don't like or care for the booing . Remember that could be your kid or grandchild on the field. How do you think the kids visiting us and considering signing with us took that? Not good no matter how we try to spin the booing.
