Was told he may not play this weekend unless they REALLY think they need him! Was told they would really like to give one more week to heal.

I have been talking this guy up all spring and summer...would love to see him play.... Whenever it is that he gets to play, he will make a HUGE impact.

Would love to see him play, but certainly want him ready for the SEC stretch run...MJ has played pretty well, but doesn't cause the matchup problems that D-Lo does

We need him back! D. Peterson is to LSU as Shockey is to the Saints. He is a huge mismatch in the center of the field that is almost always open if 1st reads arent open. I think he will be huge for Jefferson to have a safety valve in the passing game!
and im not saying D Pete=Shockey by any means, just I think they fill the same niche on each team!

EXACTLY ForeLSU!! Obviously mitch is not the killer match up the DP is, but he is doing good enough to get by for right now.
Like most of you said, I agree completely. I am guessing they want him 100% for SEC play. We should be able to get by WV. Let him rest up completely and get ready for the likes of Florida, Alabama, etc....

Unless we're needing to open it up, I might keep him out. Offense isn't crippled without him considering the fact we are having trouble getting the ball to everyone. Problem is the guy throwing the balls, not the ones catching it.

Just trust me Americanoutlaw... I know what he said.... dont look for him to play in the first half... if its still close in the 3rd or 4th, he MAY get in.
I am not the type of person who just post dumb shite just to hear myself talk. I would be EXTREMELY surprised if got any playing time before the 4th.

No link. That's why I said y'all are just going to have to just trust me. I KNOW the coaches want to save him and don't want play then unless they feel like they absolutely HAVE to.
