If not, close to it....I want to trash him like Urban and Saban, but he seems like a really good guy to sit and have a beer with! With that, I hope we crush his arse Saturday night

exactly how I feel...I've never really liked WVU but find myself pulling for them simply because he seems like a great human being. Hopefully he goes 11-1 and gets a HUGE contract

I know most of you won't like this because we're "enemies" right now, but if you can subtract all that crap... from nothing but a "college football" point of view... this was one of Bill's finest:

Yep, sure did. And he manned-up and owned it. After, many people came foward to support him, including his previous assistant and now Pittsburgh Steeler Heach Coach Mike Tomlin.

I have to admit ever since I saw Pat White in his freshman year, I've been kind of a closet 'Eer fan. I was a little ambivalent about RichRod, but I just loved White, Slaton and then later, Devine. Just an exciting brand of football. Then, when Bill Stewart got hired and stomped on Stoops' you-know-what in his very first game as a coach, well I liked him immediately, so I've remained a closet 'Eer fan.

Having said that, this is the first week since that time where I want them to lose real real bad.

Also, Stewart and Miles do remind me of each other. It's why I like them both.

The thing that stands out to me from visiting the LSU boards is the large contingent of LSU fans that do not like Miles. I wasn't expecting that. I mean, people in Michigan were crying to have Miles a year or two ago. And as far as I was concerned, he is a higly regarded coach nationwide. So... I don't get it. What's up with the Anti-Miles crowd?

More likable than JoePa?

Imagine that your great grandfather was Gen. Patton but instead of remembering him on the history channel, you can tune into the Military Channel to see him still kicking arse in Afghanistan.

That's JoePa.

when he was HC at VMI he got in a black player's face at practice over perceived lack of effort. from there it's disputed. Bill says he basically told the player that he had to give 110% in life otherwise he was giving people an excuse to call him the "n" word. player said Bill basically told him he was playing or acting like the "n" word. either way Bill said it was wrong to use the word. as an aside, his record wasn't good anyway but he then resigned in order to save his assistants' jobs. mike tomlin's first coaching job was with Stew at VMI and he vouched for him over the incident.

Been trying to set them up on a bowling man date for years, they would have those half and half BFF necklaces within in an hour

Stewart is likable...

JoePa comes off as standoffish. I true legend... but doesn't seem to be a guy you could relate to.

My vote goes to the guy from Vandy.

I had to post this injustice somewhere. Pat White finished his career with these stats: 507-783 for 6,051 yards and 56 touchdowns and 684 carries for 4,480 yards (6.5 ypc) and 47 touchdowns rushing. Yet, he was never an All-American and cannot be considered for the College Football Hall of Fame.
