There are 111 players in NCAA Football with a higher YPC than him.

Forgive me if I'm not afraid of his big play ability

Have you watched him play? I love how our fans belittle some of the great players we'll be going against. He can easily give us problems.

Well, he's the kinda guy that can take any one play to the house.

Considering we have a really aggressive defense, if we over pursue, he could burn us.

I know he's fast. But a 4.8 YPC average in college isn't what I expect out of an elite back. That tells me that the rest of the offense must be terrible enough to where he can be contained.

Sure

But unless he does it several times in a game, I don't care.

Devine could be a problem for LSU with a read option and it is sometimes hard to find little backs like that behind blockers. Don't be surprised to see LSU have him bottled up and then out of nowhere, he bust a huge run because he gets lost in the pile.

Kid is very good. We recruited him hard by the way. Don't be ignorant. You sound like a Texas fan.

The dudes an awesome RB. I dont see where anyone can say he's not. I think our D will shut him down but he is a big threat.

He's a lot better than any back we've seen so far, which may not be saying much. He's better than anyone we have on the team. He'll also be better than pretty much any back we face except for Bama's backs.

He'll get over a hundred yards but hopefully no huge runs.

I'm not saying that he isn't good. But he obviously isn't putting up huge numbers. Which tells me that the rest of the offense is inept enough where we shouldn't be overly concerned about one guy beating us.

You think I don't remember Demps running all over us last year? An argument can be made for either one being better.

I've seen him play severl times during his career, even once in high school and I can tell you he is very good and will play at the next level IMO. I would rate him as the 3rd best back the Tigers will face this year, behind 'Bama'a duo. On the other hand, the LSU defense has played fast and loose, with only 3 really bad plays thus far. Should be a good matchup.

LSU has struggled against these types of runners before.

He's averaging 4.8 yards a carry against Coastal Carolina, Marshall, and Maryland.

Forgive me if I'm not trembling in fear.

Sure he might get about 90 yards and break off about a 35-50 yard gain at some point but it's not like they're going to run up and down the field on us.
