Braves just gave up a grand slam in the second inning to fall behind 4-0 to the Nats.

They're done. Bad time to slump and no signs of pulling out of it when there are hot teams right on their heels.

Who is this Minor kid? Did he replace Kawakami in the rotation or what?

Just gave up a granny to a .143 hitter with <60 ABs this year.

Braves still up 1.5 in the WC, but I am afraid the 6 games they have left with Philly could drop them out of contention.

Evolution of the rotation:

Opening Day
Lowe
Hanson
Jurrjens
Hudson
Kawakami

April: Jurrjens gets hurt, Medlen takes his place and pitches very well, while Kawakami struggles.

June: Jurrjens returns, Kawakami moved to the bullpen

August: Medlen out for year (Tommy John), Minor called up to take his place

He better serve it soon, or it will carry over until next year.

PHilly would love to knock them out of the playoffs. I will be shocked if the braves turn it around at this point.
