Trivia time

Imagine in respect to last nights game if Vandy had:
double the yards rushing
well over double their passing yards
score over double the amount of points
then dominate the time of possession
At the same time LSU would:
put less points on the board
have less passing yards
have less rushing yards
have less sacks
and for icing on the cake only convert 1 third down
Ladies and Gentlemen what would you have?
double the yards rushing
well over double their passing yards
score over double the amount of points
then dominate the time of possession
At the same time LSU would:
put less points on the board
have less passing yards
have less rushing yards
have less sacks

Bingo, The 04 Vandy game and it was coached by everyones favorite mancrush in his last season at LSU. The general mindset after the game was we dominated...notice the difference?????

What was the score of that game at the half? At the end of the third quarter?

in a preemptive response to future saban testicle massagers comments..it was a 2-9 Vandy team playing the defending national champions...

Some of your stats don't hold up. Specifically your assertions about the two minor categories of rushing and passing yardage. And sacks. Here is the boxscore from the game.

I'm not sure what the point of your post was.
I'll take a stab... I guess that means we'll be okay this year. The 2004 team lost 3 games to top 10 teams after winning the national title, so maybe we can post a 3 loss season after 5 and 4 loss seasons. Hey, that's improvement there. Even if we lose 4 due to the extra game, if we win 9, we'll still consider it just as good. This goes to show us that the current LSU staff is just as capable as the coaching staff which lead us in 2004. I feel reassured that we're still as much an elite, respected program now as we were then. Thanks,

I am fairly certain you know what the intent of my post was, don't play coy. The point was made and made clearly, Miles had a better performance and gets nailed to the cross when his predecessor was praised.
Personally I am not a Miles supporter per se I support the current team and Miles just happens to be the coach of it....I noticed you neglected to mention ugay hanging half a hundy on us that season.
I guess its your turn to point out it was only 45.....see how your point of "quality losses" can be easily twisted around, all points can be twisted.
