A little tidbit I found in the middle of an Adam Pittser article that was written this morning. Apparently Wisconsin is waiting on Brissett to make a decision before they offer Pittser.

quote:

**Note: Brissett has been rumored to have narrowed his list to two (LSU and North Carolina) although this has not been confirmed.

Here is the link if anybody has a premium scout.com account. LINK

ETA: Sorry if this is old news.

I know he is not afraid of competetion, but they already have 2 qbs committed. Could be good for us.

Probably a guy who see like 5 minutes tops coming off the bench for UNC. His future is in football, and I wish he would realize that before his freshman year.

UNC already has two dual-threat QBs in this class alone, while he would be the only one here once JJ leaves

He's a 3 star basketball player. They have three commits so far. Two who are 5 stars, and one who is not ranked for some reason.

Brissett doesn't seem to have his heart in Football at all. I wouldn't be surprised to see him give it up wherever he commits...

Not sure I'd be done at QB at LSU, even if we get this guy. I'd rather Mettenberger at this point.

That's what I have to think. I've never seen him play before, but at 6'5", 225 lbs. and athletic, I have to believe that he is far more superior than most of the guys he plays against. He probably puts up good numbers, so he thinks he's talented at basketball.

I live in Flower Mound, and have seen Marcus Smart play a number of times, a guy who LSU has interest in. He is only 6'4", 205 lbs. but he is so much stronger and athletic than his competition. The only tough player they faced last year was Perry Jones, who is at Baylor.

Is the dude ever going to visit? As far as I know he said he "expects" to. Until the I'll back away from the Brissett train.

I'd would like a real quarterback not another great "athelete".

Brissett can play qb. The only film I saw was him playing as a sophomore. He wasn't the full time qb. So I'm only assuming his more recent film will be better. Or once there is more recent.

And yes oleary gave the bird. He is suspended two games. At first dwyer said they were just going to forfeit those games. I think they won't anymore. Either way they got hosed in that game.

With the attrition at QB for LSU, we can take five QBs in this class for all I care. I am somewhat concerned about M-Berger's past however and the double-standard it could create within the team.

Ohreally? T Bob got a dui this summer and he was given the green light to play at guard over the second string guard! What double standard

Let's face it, the guy got drunk and grabbed some arse> Got arrested, lost his schooly, etc

It was a mistake and look what he lost over it.

He is the exact type of guy we need at qb. Im sick of trying to get these super athletes that are run/pass bs. Give me a fundamentally sound, coverage reading, ball secure qb any day over some guy who can run like a deer, not too smart, and can throw it out the stadium type.

We have 5 stars everywhere else, we dont need that type at qb.
