If it's determined by replay that the whistle blew before the fumble, then the play will stand.
That was not the case Saturday. It was a fumble. The whistle didn't blow until he hit the ground. The ground level camera angle from Ridley's front left is the only one that shows the ball clearly coming out. They got that one correct.
