Why did Southern not just kick a FG and make it a 8 point game instead of going for it on 4th and goal?

Because they wanted a TD, nothing wrong with that call they just shouldn't have thrown that crappy fade on 1st down.

For the guy w/ the high school comment, turn the channel then. Actually, thought the first half was pretty exciting but both teams lost their starting quarterbacks to injuries which is a big reason for the struggles in second half. As far as the comment regarding names on jerseys, I thought it was pretty common in that younger players have to earn their names on their jerseys . . .maybe I'm wrong.

Either way, does it give you some sort of sick satisfaction to point that out? With all the recent state budget cuts, the financial struggles of many of the smaller schools is well documented.

I like keeping up with all of Louisiana's college teams. Hard to believe their previous coach (Pete Richardson) was there for 17 seasons.

It's 2 FCS schools so they're not going to have big fanbases. Additionally both schools are a combined 1,650 miles away.
