This is a flat out lie. I'm pretty sure Southern has better attendance figures even with their high prices (for a FCS game). I've seen Southern travel to big games w/ 20k which does not happen for a FCS school.

b/c its a part of SWAC and MEAC football. Why do you care? And maybe people actually like hearing these bands play? What is w/ posters today and all the snobbish comments about your crosstown neighbor . . .for goodness sake.

Either way, does it give you some sort of sick satisfaction to point that out? With all the recent state budget cuts, the financial struggles of many of the smaller schools is well documented.

For the guy w/ the high school comment, turn the channel then. Actually, thought the first half was pretty exciting but both teams lost their starting quarterbacks to injuries which is a big reason for the struggles in second half. As far as the comment regarding names on jerseys, I thought it was pretty common in that younger players have to earn their names on their jerseys . . .maybe I'm wrong.

Trying to find a way to get out of work and go to Miami for the Super Bowl. I won't be going to the game but figured it would be a cool mini-vacation. Is anybody else going?

Y'all are some arrogant SOBs. Furthermore, it's not a statement against SU that they only have 4 wins against top 100. They haven't had the opportunity to face top teams. Also, take a look at the last few times SU has faced LSU. LSU has definitely not been dominant.

Southern doesn't have a chance to win this regional but if you don't think they could upset LSU on Friday, you could be in for a surprise.

Speaking of the SWAC, something has always caught my attention. Why have I never heard of Pete Richardson being interviewed for any job in D-1. Even if the league isn't up to par, it's all still relative. The guy wins consistently and has proven he can coach but yet I've never heard his name once mentioned.
