We play 1aa from Alabama (Jacksonville State and USA) from shy away from Southern and Grambling. Reason?

They might as well play Southern and Grambling if they are going to schedule schools like USA. At least the money is kept in state.

We don't shy away from them. In fact, we offered to play Southern years ago and they didn't want to play us.

I was just about to post that. USA is on the fast track to FBS. They will be alot stronger than people are thinking. They are building a good program and have gotten transfers from multiple FBS schools already. They NC State in 2012 have a 6-8 year contract to play Navy already set up and have a 2 and 1 set up with MSU. they will have had many "tests" before this game rolls around. This game has been in the works for a while. USA had originally asked Auburn for a pay game and AU refused. AU came back and tried to get back in, but the LSU game was the winner.
