I'm sure it's just like everywhere else, just put it in a cup and you'll be fine.

yeah I have never had a problem

I've lived in Georgia for almost 20 years and I actually have no idea. When we go down there to tailgate (which is every time LSU is in town), alcohol has never been a problem. I agree with the above response of "put it in a cup" if you're going to walk around though.
I'm pretty sure that Atlanta does have an open container law.

The only thing is that this time the weather will not be FREEZING, so there might be more cops around (and that care)....I hope not though.

Definitely open container laws...went to the Kick-off Classic last year. We were stopped while walking to the Braves game on Friday night and had to throw away/finish our beers. The cop said, "What do you think, this is New Orleans??" I got a kick out of that seeign how I was sporting Braves attire and he wouldn't have had any idea where I was from.
Keep it in a cup while motoring around!![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icondrunkards.gif)

This may be a dumb question, but will they sell beer in the dome during the game? I've only been for an SEC championship and of course the SEC rule is no alcohol...I remember when LSU played Tulame in the Superdome a couple years back they were selling bloody marys...so maybe when its a non-conference game they allow it?

They sold beer at the cfa bowl 2 years ago when i was there. And I brought a throwaway cooler inside the cnn center and pounded beers. But it was 20 degrees outside, they be more strict saturday.
And turner field is completely different than the Dome. Braves security can get strict.

Awesome. It's going to be a shitshow if they actually ALLOW LSU fans to put down beers during the game ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

It was the APD directing traffic about 3 blocks away.

not sure.... but i do know they dont like throwing sugar cubes onto the field after a victory over tennessee

Well imo if they didn't say anything about drinking outside the dome on the webpage then its a go. I think LSU would at least warn us before hand. And there was another thread that talked about the Bama/VA Tech game last year, they said drinking was a go in the dome.

I would definitely be discrete. It's not on a campus. The cops could be dicks if they wanted to be.

So they will sell beer at the game?
Posted on 8/31/10 at 7:04 pm to Ray Finkle
At the 07 SECCG there was no beer in the dome. They said it was some rule but u can't remember if it was NCAA or SEC

Put some vodka and tonic in cup skip the beer
