Any chance Ware or Blue could become the feature back this year?

I drafted Ware and Blue in the last 2 rounds of my SEC fantasy draft (over backup WRs, etc). Any chance one could emerge later in the year? Having played in this league for many years I have noticed Miles doesn't usually play younger guys at RB. Thoughts?

Apparently you didn't read Leslie's release today. He says Murphy and Ridley will get the bulk of the carries and the younger guys MAY get a carry or two per game.

Did you not notice Charles Scott, and Kieland williams playing when they were young players?
But seriously the answer is doubtful really stacked at RBs
And you took both?

Ware might get some touches but Murphy, Ridley and Ford will get the bulk of the carries. It's not that Miles does not play young RB's, we've had some pretty good RB's for a long time and sometimes you just have to wait your turn. I think Blue will get a redshirt.

No. Ford on the other hand, there might be a chance.

No. If Murphy stays healthy he will be a fricking freak. Not just good but an absolute animal.

You shouldn't read the Rant, it can degrade logic and burn your synapses at stupid if you don't know what you are talking about...

Why do people ask if there is a chance. There always is a chance

Chances are really slim unless there are injuries like we had last year.

You should of got Ford. Blue will likely redshirt and Ware is 4th string.

Keiland Williams and Charles Scott were our top two running backs on the team in 2006. JV was never able to live up to the hype after the 2003 season, and Alley Broussard was never able to return to his pre-injury form. In fact LSU really didn't have a running game until KW and CS got into form.

quote:Scott and Keiland didn't get ANY significant carries until LSU had already lost 2 games and were out of the national title and SEC title hunt. Miles insisted on running an ineffective Vincent and Broussard most of the season rather than giving the young guys a chance. Keiland's first game where he was given a chance was the NINTH game of the season,Tennessee game, where he tore it up. What does it say that they were clearly our 2 best back that year but it took Les 9 games and 2 losses to figure that out.
