Trying to gain muscle. I am new to working out and never ate that healthy. What's the best type of fish you can buy at the store?

Just about any fish is going to be good for you while working out. I used to eat lots of tuna/salmon/snapper when I was eating healthy. Fattier fish like salmon are good because they contain a hefty dose of omega 3 fats. You cheapest bet for protein is going to be catfish and tilipia.
When it comes to working out and eating right any protein is going to be good for you. Shrimp, oysters, crabmeat, fish, and other meats are all good. I used to like to mix up my protein sources because all proteins have different advantages. I would eat chicken, fish, steak, beef, pork, etc all in the same day a lot of times.

Salmon is generally considered the best fish to eat, but do not get farm raised its not as good. Secondly, tuna, then any of the other white meat fish....

True, although you can get plenty of omega 3 from certain greens like purslane.
Just had a good dose of tuna steak, I'm feeling good about that choice right now.
