I have been reading a lot of the rants on this board of late. I even hooked up an app on my Droid and now I can listen to "The Spicey" one.Living in Texas does not give me many outlets to read and here about my Tigers.
I glean from what I read and from what I hear, that nothing less than a perfect season and a National Championship will prevent the call for the removal of Coach Miles.
I am not attempting to be enciteful here but I would like to hear who you think should be the next victim of your ire.
Will it be Will? How about Bo? Or Jimbo? Are you foolish to believe that Nick would return? We could raid the Mountian West and get either Peterson or Patterson. Right? We could pursue the Old Ball Coach or perhaps the current coach of the Men of Troy. We could find a NFL coach on the decline. I hear the Pirate is looking for a job.
Our football program makes s sh*t pile of money. We could probably hire anyone we want provided they are willing to be your whippin boy.
...come on Tigers PUSH ! PUSH ! PUSH !

Will is staying with Texas, Bo with Nebraska and Jimbo with FSU. I seriously doubt Saban would come back. Spurrier is probably going to be hanging it up in a few years, if not sooner.
My vote would be for Petersen out of Boise State or Gruden.

That's the golden question. Look what happened to UT & Michigan when they got rid of their guys. No one wanted the job. What makes anyone think LSU is so special that coaches would be beating down the door to come here?
Be very careful what you wish for tards.
eta: Why the frick would Del Rio leave the NFL to come here? Seriously?

I like will muschamp and gary Patterson. I also think gruden would be an awesome choice with the assumption that he can recruit. Not sure how his style will translate to the living rooms of families

My short list:
Gary Patterson - TCU
Kyle Whittingham - Utah
Randy Edsall - UConn
Of course my first choice is for us to go 14-0 and not even have to worry about this though.

Del Rio wanted the job when we hired Miles and the Jags havent gotten much better since then with the exception of MJD. No chance we get Gruden. Ever

Why is everyone so sure of this? He's a coach in waiting. If something as premier as lsu head job comes knocking, I dont think he waits! He's an sec boy. I bet he would come here or Georgia if it came open

I'm with you. Really, we all need to be careful what we wish for.

Already has a contract extension with TCU that extends to 2016.

Stop listening to Ott. Del Rio was NEVER a real candidate. Ott got all butt hurt too when that NFL guy called him out on it too.

How much would the buyout be?

I have heard that Gruden would not mind coming down here and coaching for LSU.

I'm ready for some QB development. I think this guy would need a helluva defensive coordinator, but I'd love to see him get a shot.
We could steal MSU's coach, since he'll have a pretty good handle on the competition.
But I'd love for Chuckie to be holding the play sheet when we're going up against Saban, even if that's not going to happen in reality.

My first choice would be Edsall

Why do people always mention Peterson from Boise State? If you know anything about the guy's background, it's pretty clear he's staying put for a LONG time. Check out his wife's story and how the Boise community embraced them.
